“Extracting my values and discovering the shadow values driving all of my behaviours has been the most liberating experience (a close 2nd to giving birth to each of my 4 boys) that brought about pure acceptance of what I had previously tried to hide about myself. As a past primary school teacher who emerged into a full time mother, walking my talk became a pivotal leadership skill that allows my actions to speak volume to my words. By far, the children in our lives learn more by not what we say, but rather what we do. If we are truly passionate about leading children to live empowering lives, it is paramount that we start owning who we are and start showing up as our authentic selves.”
